Thank you for using Img180!  We wrote this policy to help you understand what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By your use of and/or registration on Img180, you expressly consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use Img180. Img180 reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice. The date of the most recent revision will appear on this page, and your continued use of Img180 will constitute your acceptance of any revisions of this Privacy Policy.

 

What information do we collect?

When you sign up for or use our products, you voluntarily give us certain information. This can include your name, profile photo, pins, idea albums, reviews, questions and answers, messages, uploaded content, comments, likes, follows, IP address, physical contact information, email address you used to sign up, and any other information you provide us. If you’re using Img180 on your mobile device, you can also choose to provide us with location data.

You also may give us permission to access your information in other services. For example, you may link your Facebook or Twitter account to Img180, which allows us to obtain information from those accounts (e.g., your friends or contacts).

 

Other information we collect

Log Data. When you use Img180 and use a feature (like our “Add to Idea Album” button), our servers automatically record information (“log data”). Other information is automatically collected whenever you engage in Img180 such as account log in, your usage statistics such as page views and traffic to and from Img180.

Cookie data. We may use cookies and similar technology in connection with your use of the Site and third party websites ("Cookies"). Cookies are small data files that may have unique identifiers, and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device, in emails we send to you, and on our web pages. Cookies may transmit information about you and your use of the Site, such as your browser type, search preferences, data relating to advertisements that have been displayed to you or that you have clicked on, and the date and time of your use. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.

Device Information. In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using Img180 on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you’re using, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data.

Transactional Information: If you make purchases through the Site, we may collect and store certain information about you to process your requests and populate forms for future transactions, such as your phone number, address, email, and credit card information. This information may be shared with third parties who help process and fulfill your requests. When you submit credit card numbers, we encrypt that information using industry standard technology. If you write reviews about businesses with which you transact through the Site, we may publicly display the fact that you transacted with those businesses.

 

How do we use the information we collect?

We use the information we collect to provide our products to you and make them better, develop new products, and protect Img180 and our users. For example, we may log how often people use a particular feature of Img180 or whether or not they use it at all. The information we collect may be “personally identifiable” (meaning it can be used to specifically identify you as a unique person) or “non-personally identifiable” (meaning it can’t be used to specifically identify you). We use both types of information, and combinations of both types, as described above. We may use or store information wherever Img180 does business, including countries outside your own.

 

Also we use this information to:

  • To verify your identity when you sign in.
  • Respond to your questions or comments. 
  • To encourage safe online experiences and enforce our policies.
  • To identify your reviews as your own to protect review integrity.
  • To communicate policy and terms of use announcements when we need to provide users with information that may affect their use of Img180.
  • To communicate marketing and promotional offers to our users.

 

We also use the information we collect to offer you customized content, including:

  • Suggesting idea albums, 180 listing or other content you might like.
  • To provide you with Img180 services.
  • Showing you ads you might be interested in.
  • Send you updates (such as when certain activity, like a reply to your request for service message), newsletters, marketing materials and other information that may be of interest to you.
  • Help your friends and contacts find you on Img180. For example, if you sign up using a Twitter account, we may help your Twitter friends find your account on Img180 when they first sign up for Img180. Or, we may allow people to search for your account on Img180 using your username.

 

What choices do you have about your information?

Our goal is to provide you an easy way to display the information you want. If you have an Img180 account, many of the choices you have on Img180 are built directly in to the product or your account settings. For example, you can:

  • Access and change information in your profile page at any time.
  • Create a public or private idea album.  Pubic idea albums are visible to you, co-contributors and other participants in the album.  Private idea album are visible to you only and will not appear on the main idea album page.
  • Close your account at any time. When you close your account, we’ll deactivate it and remove your pins and boards from Img180. We may retain archived copies of your information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (including to help address fraud and spam).

 

In further protecting your privacy, you may have choices available to you through the device or software you use to access Img180. For example:

  • Your mobile device may provide you with choices around how and whether location or other data is shared with us.
  • To learn more about these choices, please view the information supplied by the device or software provider.
  • The browser you use may supply you with the ability to control cookies or other types of local data storage.

 

How do we share the information we collect?

Img180 is a tool people use to get ideas and find inspiration and make change.  When you create public idea albums, anyone can view them. You may also provide us with profile page information that that anyone can view. The other limited instances where we may share your personal information include:

  • We may employ third party companies or individuals to process personal information on our behalf based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy. In addition, some of the information we request may be collected by third party providers on our behalf.
  • If we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Img180; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
  • We may engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Policy.
  • We may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners or others. For example, we may tell a business using Img180 how many people liked something they shared, or are the total number of page views for a particular project.
  • If you are logged into Facebook, and you access but are not logged into the Site, we may receive information from Facebook to make it easier for you to create an account on the Site. You can also connect your Img180 account to your accounts on third party services like Facebook or Twitter, in which case we may collect and store information identifying your account with the third party service. We use the information to help you connect and share public content with your friends and followers.

 

What is our policy on children?

Img180 is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.

 

How do we make changes to this policy?

We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use Img180 after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy.
